Atlas Dynamique de la Biodiversité en Seine-et-Marne

In 2005, the Département de Seine-et-Marne, located in the Île-de-France region, France, embarked on a major research programme of faunal inventories and scientific analysis to document and value its biodiversity. Conducted in close collaboration with the Conservatoire Botanique National du Bassin Parisien, the Muséum National d’Histoire Naturelle National and ten other organisations involved in the protection of nature, the resulting dataset included:
- A rich database of hundreds of thousands of observations of flora and fauna ;
- A set of maps showing the geographical distribution of various indicators of biodiversity;
- Many syntheses characterizing the influence of land use on the services that biodiversity provides to humans.

The results will be published in a series of four books.
