Flora of the Arabian Peninsula and Socotra

A comprehensive six-part series which will cover the flora of the Arabian Peninsula and the Socotran archipelago. The region studied includes: Saudi Arabia; Yemen; The Sultanate of Oman; United Arab Emirates; Qatar; Bahrain; and Kuwait. Volumes one to four will cover the dicot families, volume five the monocot families, and volume six a monographic introduction. The family order follows the Engler and Prantl system, and it is hoped that there will be approximately 100 illustrations and 700 species in each volume. No publications dates or further details are yet available for volumes two to six.
