Wildlife and People (formerly Birds and People)

This new series from Langford Press shows the close working relationship many field-based ornithologists have with their subject species; relationships that they often develop under difficult conditions and over a very large number of years. This series will give an insight into the discoveries made, and the joys of working with wild species in their natural habitats, but will also show the frustrations encountered while trying to answer basic questions about the biology and ecology of such birds. All of the authors in this series have worked on their subject species for many years, and many of their observations and disoveries are described here for the first time.
