A Guide to the Parks of Sabah is a handy guidebook introducing the six parks controlled and managed by the State Government through a Board of Trustees. Covering almost 2.6% of Sabah’s total land area of 76 115 sq. km, these parks provide recreational and scientific facilities while preserving Sabah’s nature heritage for future generations.

The three terrestrial and three marine parks hold some of the most fascinating natural features – the highest mountain in Malaysia, the world’s largest flower, sea snakes, green turtles, mud volcanoes, sparkling waterfalls and dense tropical rain forest. Each chapter opens up with an introduction to a park, outlining its geology, history, climate, plant and animal life. Location maps and colour photographs highlight interesting features.
