About this book

Language: French, with vernacular names in English, French, German, and Dutch. Some figure captions are in English, and some chapters have English summaries.

This atlas describes and maps 173 bird species occurring in Wallonia, the southern part of Belgium. Data were gathered between 2001 to 2007, and for each species distribution and changes in it are visualised and discussed, together with breeding habitat. The last chapter covers an additional 20 species that occurred before 2001, but not after, and a further three species that started occurring after 2007.
