About this book

There is much public concern about threats to global biodiversity. The most direct association with chemistry is through pollution being identified as a cause; another is climate change resulting from the build-up of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere. Changing agricultural practices, including the use of herbicides and pesticides, also impact on biodiversity. This book addresses these concerns by detailing some of the research currently in progress.
