The Chrysomelidae are one of the most biodiverse groups of animals and plants and number over 35,000 described species, with at least as many undescribed. These three books on the biology of Chrysomelidae focus on specific areas of study: evolution, genetics and phylogeny; ecological aspects; general biological studies with descriptions of immature stages, as well as reproduction and embryology. Many of the chapters are contributed by experts in their particular field, especially from the New World, Europe and Asia.
