Systematics is prime to biology because it’s the foundation for all studies on all organisms and in understanding their conservation issues. The present compilation is an effort to describe 68 species of ferns and fern-allies belonging to 28 genera and 18 families along with their taxonomic details and colour photographs for easy identification. This book will provide baseline data for further studies on ferns and fern-allies of the Himalayan region.
