About this book

Language: Latin

In this issue the so-called "tragacanthic Astragali" are treated. This group includes all species of Astragalus subgen. Tragacantha Bunge, which had been named Astracantha by Podlech. New data, including molecular evidence has shown, that this group is clearly related to other groups of Astragalus and cannot be separated as a distinct genus. A key to all spiny Astragali is given in Astragalus part II. In this volume, only a key of the tragacanthic Astragali is given.
