About this book

The core objective of this volume is to illustrate how the forces of globalization impact upon the prospects for sustainable development using Latin America, one of the major emerging regions of the world, as a case study. It seeks to bring together the two hitherto separate paradigms of globalization and sustainable development into one ananlytical framework.Th is, the authors hope, will increase support of the efforts to further sustainable development in developing countries, in the context of globalization.
