This CD publication covers the sounds of the birds of the Indian Peninsula except the Northern mountains and the North East corner.

It contains 5 CDs with songs and often calls of more than 90 per cent of the total 410 permanently resident species in the Indian peninsula, using contributions from 35 participants.
It has 560 different recordings.

A bilingual booklet of 118 pages (English - French) provides information about these recordings and help fast tracking of each species on the CD.

Furthermore for certain groups, identification keys have been given to enable the listener to recognise close species which have similar vocalisations.

A list of the 32 most common species is also provided for those less familiar with the topic and provides an easier way to navigate amongst the bird sounds.
