This is first part of a catalog of type specimens of vascular plants of Siberia and the Russian Far East, held in the Herbarium of the Botanical Institute, Komarov RAS (LE). It contains information about a total of 1085 Sporophytes (Polypodiophyta, Equisetophyta, Lycopodiophyta), gymnosperms (Pinophyta) and monocots (Liliopsida). For each taxon, the catalogue gives a Latin name nomenclature quote, category type and quantity of herbarium sheets, region, whether there is a representative sample, label text, a quote from protologue and any necessary notes. The catalogue is intended for plant taxonomists and experts in herbarium collections.

Издание является первой частью каталога типовых образцов сосудистых растений Сибири и российского Дальнего Востока, хранящихся в Гербарии Ботанического института им. В.Л.Комарова РАН (LE). Том содержит сведения о типовых образцах названий 1085 таксонов высших споровых растений (Polypodiophyta, Equisetophyta, Lycopodiophyta), голосеменных (Pinophyta) и однодольных (Lili-opsida). Для каждого таксона приводится латинское название с номенклатурной цитатой, категория типа и количество гербарных листов, регион, откуда происходит типовой образец, текст этикетки, цитата из протолога, необходимые примечания. Обозначены 90 лектотипов, 2 неотипа, 3 эпитипа. 

"Каталог" предназначен для систематиков растений и специалистов по гербарным коллекциям.
