Flowers in black and white?!

This is a checklist rather than a guide.
Many plants are listed by the local names with vague descriptions that are fairly generic in nature making it impossible to differentiate plants.
Those relatively few plants that are illustrated are done so by black and white sketches only: no help at all when identifying such a colourful array of plants.
