About this book

This book is a celebration of one of the most fascinating ocean animals. Using the latest scientific research, the book dives in to explore the oddities of octopus biology including the ability of these animals to change colour although they're colour-blind and why they're the most intelligent invertebrate on earth. Octopuses have survived ice ages and mass extinctions and today over 300 species are known. It features profiles from over 30 species including many found in Australia ranging from the tiny and infamous Blue-ringed Octopus to the giant Maori Octopus. The book is written in a fun and easy-to-read format and will be a great read for people of all ages.
