In general, the species commonly and regularly found in the park are illustrated while resident 'specials' such as the Pels Fishing Owl are also included. To aid identification, the birds have been arranged in groups of bushveld, grassland, water, raptors and night birds.

The DVD begins with a short introduction to the Kruger Park, and each of the bird groups.
