About this book

This photographic guide aids identification, describes habitats within Coffin Bay at the southern tip of the Eyre Peninsula, South Australia, and includes some notes on the species. Most of the species illustrated are also found in other semi-enclosed bays of the west coast of South Australia, and many in the quiet waters of the gulfs. The emphasis in the guide is upon common mobile animals of a size most likely to be seen with the naked eye, particularly fish, crabs and molluscs. Most attention is given to organisms that are found living or stranded along the shores, and to those that are likely to be seen or caught while shore fishing
