These under-eaves swift nest boxes from Unitura are a subtle and attractive way of providing swifts roosting opportunities in your eaves and soffits while remaining durable and secure for both the home and birds. The roost is made of both a wooden concrete entrance stone and an certified sustainable plywood box, with ideally only the entrance stone being exposed to the elements, improving the durability and longevity of the box. Two nesting bowls are integrated within the design to encourage swifts to utilise the box for nesting, along with a sloped nesting board. The entrance stone is scalloped to improve the ease of entry and exit for swifts and also provide runoff opportunities for water, should the box be mounted horizontally.

The box is designed to be mounted in multiple directions depending on the angle of mounting and the shape and angle of the soffit/fascia. Important to note is that the gable end cannot exceed 20-50 degrees when using the angled nesting board.

The entrance stone has a fire rating EN 13501-1:2018 reaction to fire classification: A2-s1, d0. The plywood shell has a fire rating of: D-S2-D0
