About this book

Language: English

This book is the outcome of the author's fascination with spiders. So far, nothing substantial was known about the spider fauna of the Gibbon Wildlife Sanctuary in Assam, India. A preliminary faunistic survey revealed 95 spider species belonging to 56 genera and 18 families, representing 30% of the total number of families reported from India. The book furthermore contains introductory information on spider ecology, importance, and threats.
