With a portfolio of more than sixty images of the Royal Bengal tiger in its varying habitats, Stripes in the Wild focuses not only on the view through the lens, but also the altering perspectives that people have brought to a reading of this magnificent animal. Celebrated in mythology and folklore, India has a tradition of protecting tigers and their habitats. It is through a retelling of these stories – through stunning visuals and recounting of experience – that interest in the tiger ancl its habitat is refreshed and continued.

Stripes in the Wild is Somesh Goyal's attempt at precisely this. First inspired while on a visit to the Jim Corbett National Park, wildlife photography and conservation are now second nature to him – both for which he has received national commendation and several awards.
