This volume completes the three-volume series with the more complicated crystal structures that contain H2O molecules and organic minerals. [...] These volumes appear to be the first published structure-based classification of the whole mineral kingdom. Authors who are preparing a new edition of Dana's System of Mineralogy and Strunz Mineralogical Tables should actively consider a move into the twenty-first century with a structural classification. [...] The great strength of this book lies in the information in the tables. The book is printed on good quality paper with clear type. Compared to other mineralogical books, the price is reasonable. Earth Science libraries will find a copy useful as a reference text, and the price may be low enough to justify a personal copy (Peter Bayliss, Australian Museum, Sydney, Australia in Canadian Mineralogist 42, 919 (2004)
