Biography

Amy Atwater is a celebrated palaeontologist and director at Dinosaur Ridge, Colorado. Under the banner of 'Mary Anning's Revenge', she has amassed over 57,000 followers on Instagram. She also runs a blog of the same name with fellow palaeontologist Meaghan Emery-Wetherall. She gained a Master's in her field from the University of Texas and currently lives in Colorado, where she is the director of Dinosaur Ridge.
Atwater's passion for palaeobiology, and how fossils can help us to understand the ecosystems of ancient history, has translated brilliantly onto social media where her personality shines through, doubtlessly inspiring many young people simply looking for cool stuff about dinosaurs to take a deeper interest in the subject.

French Uruguayan author & illustrator, born in Paris in 1982 and based in Uruguay, Nat Cardozo graduated as a Higher Technician in Plastic Arts and Design in Illustration at the Escola J. Serra i Abella in Barcelona in 2009. She has participated in exhibitions in Uruguay, Mexico, Spain and Argentina and has worked with several publishers in picture books and all kinds of publications, some of them of her own authorship. Inspired by nature and world cultures, she enjoys exploring various traditional techniques such as acrylics, coloured pencils, ink and watercolour, usually combining them with each other. Pyrography and embroidery are also included among her favourite techniques.
