About this book

Language: Dutch

Although management and conservation of wader species and farmland has become popular, it seems little effective in conserving bird habitats. Weidevogels in een Veranderend Landschap describes this decline, the visible changes in the landscape, and the consequences for waders. It also offers practical information for proper and effective management of wader species. Using illustrations and photos the authors explain landscape features and examples of habitats that have been conserved effectiviely. As such, it is of use to not only farmers, but also volunteers, conservationists, recreationists, and scientists.
