This kind of cartilaginous or gelatinous fungi are treated only a few common species in different mycological floras. In this work there are 42 species belonging to 21 genera and 6 different orders. The micrographs depict the microscopical characters that are very difficult to observe on exsiccata, with characteristic basidia of various shapes and sizes. Numerous synonymies of the species studied are cited.
