Ospreys are back and breeding in England after an absence of 150 years. David Attenborough narrates their story and that of the organisations and volunteers that made it happen.

Ospreys were driven to extinction in England, but a 10-year partnership between Anglian Water, the Leistershire and Rutland Wildlife Trust, the Highland Foundation for Wildlife and hundreds of volunteers has brought them from the Scottish Highlands to the shores of Rutland Water.

This DVD shows their progress, from the first translocation of juvenile ospreys from Scoland in 1996, tracking their perilous migration to the west coast of Africa, to the successful breeding of ospreys in England and the establishment of a breeding colony at Rutland Water.
