A 90-minute DVD-Video and sound guide to 250 species common to southern and eastern Africa. All the species are shown in live close-up video with accompanying bird call, and each bird is numbered and titled in English and Afrikaans, and a printed bird list is included.

In general, the species commonly and regularly found in the park are illustrated while resident 'specials' such as the Pels Fishing Owl are also included. To aid identification, the birds have been arranged in groups of bushveld, grassland, water, raptors and night birds.

The DVD begins with a short introduction to the Kruger Park, and each of the bird groups.
