The Southern Sky Guide is a comprehensive and easy-to-use guide to the brilliant and ever-changing sights of the southern sky by night. Both beginners and advanced sky-watchers will get great value from this skilfully written book, whether they are using the naked eye, binoculars or a small telescope.

This introductory text will familiarise readers with the many and varied objects in the sky and their fascinating movements and changing appearances, as well the ancient myths and legends entwined around the groupings of stars.
