This up to date field guide covers all 181 species and 32 genera of orchids found in the Southern Tablelands of New South Wales and the Australian Capital Territory. Each species is covered in details with one page per species and usually 2-4 photographs showing a different part of the plant. Each genus features a one-page introduction including notes on biology, taxonomy and etymology, as well as a section on pollinators and pollination strategies. The Southern Tablelands area covered includes south-eastern New South Wales from Goulburn, south to the Victorian border and from the Great Dividing Range, west to Tumut.
