This volumes includes wild, as well as virtually all cultivated species in Belarus. For each species, Latin, Russian and Belarusian names, major synonyms, a morphological description, ecology, distribution throughout the country, specific localities and point cartography is given, as well as the general distribution for large areas and continents, the number of chromosomes and practical value. For most species, illustrations are presented in the form of original drawings and colour photographs.
