This is the first compilation of the vascular flora of the municipality of Córdoba (Andalusia, Spain). The presence of two well-differentiated biogeographical areas gives rise to a high floristic richness.

With this work the reader can identify any species through dichotomous keys, in addition to obtaining information about its habitat, flowering period and abundance and frequency in the different natural areas in which the study area has been divided. Observations and specific locations of certain species are also included. The book is complemented by 72 colour plates, with more than 400 photographs illustrating this flora.

In total, 1226 species are classified, distributed in 589 genera and 126 families. In addition, 120 species are considered especially noteworthy. The most representative families, new taxa, comparisons with nearby floras and species under special protection or threatened regime are addressed.

Se trata de la primera compilación de la flora vascular del término municipal de Córdoba (Andalucía, España). La presencia de dos áreas biogeográficas bien diferenciadas da lugar a una alta riqueza florística.

Con esta obra podrá identificar cualquier especie mediante claves dicotómicas, además de obtener información sobre su hábitat, período de floración y abundancia-frecuencia en las distintas áreas naturales en las que se ha dividido el área de estudio. También se incluyen observaciones y localizaciones concretas de ciertas especies. El libro se complementa con 72 láminas a color, con más de 400 fotografías que ilustran esta flora.

En total se catalogan 1226 especies, distribuidas en 589 géneros y 126 familias. Además, se consideran 120 especies como “a buscar”. Se abordan las familias más representativas, nuevos taxones, comparaciones con floras cercanas y especies en régimen de protección especial o amenazadas.
