New expanded edition of a work published on 1971 on the flora of this area in the NW corner of France.

Publiée à l'origine aux Presses universitaires de Bretagne en 1971, cette étude exceptionnelle de la flore de Bretagne n'avait jamais été rééditée depuis sa première parution. C'est aujourd'hui le travail entrepris par l'éditeur d'art Henry des Abbayes, petit-fils du botaniste et professeur Henry Nicollon des Abbayes, qui propose une édition augmentée de la flore de son grand-père.

Aux 1226 pages, avec dessins, de l'édition d'origine, sera ajouté un supplément de 80 pages rédigé par le professeur Pierre Dupont, co-auteur historique de la flore, et déjà publié dans la revue E.R.I.C.A. en 19951 , inséré à la fin de la Flore.

Cet ouvrage s'adresse en priorité aux botanistes intéressés par l'étude de la végétation de la Normandie aux Deux-Sèvres en passant par les Pays de la Loire et la Bretagne.
