This volume updates the second edition of Henderson published in 1972 with a complete revision and updating of the nomenclature and classification. Henderson’s original line drawings have been retained, supplemented by new drawings by Zainal Mustafa of University of Malaya. Additionally the work has been expanded with the addition of 39 composite colour plates illustrating over 80 of the 546 species covered in the book.
