A pocket magnifier or loupe is an essential part of the naturalist's field kit. They aid in the identification of insects, bugs, plants, rocks and many other specimens which have features that are difficult to observe easily with the naked eye.
These Hilkinson Rupers are compact and robust and feature a swivel casing which will protect the lens whilst stored in a pocket or bag. They are available with a 12mm, 20mm or 25mm diameter lens and with 6x, 8x, 10x or 16x magnification (for available combinations of lens size and magnification please see the drop down list above).
For more information about choosing and using a hand lens, check out the NHBS Guide to Hand Lenses on our blog.
