Illustrated Flora of Taiwan, Volume 1: Cycadaceae-Orchidaceae (Dipophyllum) is arranged in the order of evolution, starting with gymnosperms, and introducing the angiosperm groups (Nymphaea, Magnoliales and Piperles) in sequence. Next, it introduces monocots (Acorus, Alisma to Asparagus), up to the genus Dipophyllum of the Orchidaceae, including a total of 534 species of plants in 42 families.
