This is probably the most precise and remarkable published work on the Iberian butterfly family Hesperiidae. Through photographs, the biological cycles of the 30 species recorded in Iberian Peninsula are shown, including egg, caterpillar, food plant, chrysalis and adult; In addition, images of their genitalia, data on the location of their populations and the description of their habitats are provided.

Although it is a technical publication, the authors present the data in a way that allows easy interpretation and use as an identification guide, although due to its weight and dimensions it is not easy to handle in the field.

Aunque es una publicación de carácter técnico, los autores presentan los datos de manera que permite su fácil interpretación y el uso como guía de identificación, aunque por su peso y sus dimensiones no es de fácil manejo en el campo.
