A la majoria dels illots de les Balears hi ha sargantanes que s’han hagut d’adaptar a unes condicions de vida sovint molt inhòspites, difícils i diferents. Per això mateix, després de tants anys d’evolució, les sargantanes de cada illot són úniques i irrepetibles al món. Les sargantanes de les Balears són, amb certesa, un tresor del nostre patrimoni natural que cal conèixer, valorar i conservar.
