About this book

Language: Japanese

Treehoppers belong to the insect groups of the cicadas, but their bodies are much smaller, and part of it changes to form a horn. Central and South American horned treehoppers often have unusually different horn shapes, and others use them to mimic other insects and plants. In plants, young leaves, dead leaves, side buds, etc., in insects, flies, and in others, things similar to insect droppings and husks. This booklet provides a photographic introduction to the wonderful and mysterious treehopper.
