This is a precursor to the Encyclopaedia of Life Support Systems, a dynamic web-based archive created under the auspices of UNESCO, consolidating the global dialogue initiated at Stockholm (1972), continued at Rio (1992) and Copenhagen (1995), and incorporating numerous declarations, charters, protocols and treaties.
