Language: Bilingual in French and Kabyle with scientific nomenclature

Plantes de Kabylie / Imghan n Tensawt is a collection of more than 200 plants with a Kabyle-French-Latin lexicon and more than 450 pictures to help better identify them. The book includes illustrations of Berber signs and patterns with a glossary giving their meanings as well as many known uses, and some recipes. All plants were photographed in the village Tansawt (western Kabylie, north Algeria) and the content comes largely from the accounts of men and women of the village.

Toutes les plantes ont été photographiées dans les environs du village Tansawt (ouest Kabylie) et le contenu provient en grande partie des témoignages d’hommes et de femmes du village.
