About this book

Language: French with scientific nomenclature

This is a field guide to the fish of Djibouti. It will allow everyone, from experienced divers to swimmers equipped with a diving mask, to name the species observed or photographed. It illustrates 520 species with more than 850 photographs.

The book is the result of a study conducted over several years (2010 to 2016), diving and snorkelling, day and night, but also at fishing ports to record catches of deep and pelagic species. It also gives indications on species that are not observed but potentially present in the territorial waters of Djibouti (pelagic non-commercial, very deep or cryptic species).
