This collection of articles offers a comprehensive overview of function and adaptation in the postcranial skeleton of living and fossil non-human primates. The first seven essays address major aspects of functional morphology and anatomy - covering such anatomical regions as the shoulder, elbow, forearm, wrist, hand and foot. The last four essays apply this anatomical knowledge toward interpreting positional and locomotor behaviour in extinct primates preserved in the fossil record.
