Why not set up a nest material depot to let you observe birds and help them during the time-consuming work of building their nests?
It is re-usable and easily filled with a refill kit. Simply bend the "spring" over to refill and once refilled it will return to its original shape. Position in a location protected from the rain; preferably in an easily observable position to maximize your enjoyment!
