Roses of Mughal Garden is a photographic record of the roses in the Mughal Garden at Rashtrapati Bhavan. Mughal Garden is one of the most beautiful gardens in the world, and roses are central to its fame. Of the three main parts of this garden, one is exclusively for roses. All presidents have taken keen interest in strengthening the collection of roses by introducing new varieties. In 2007, a fragrant rosary was created on the Southern Terrace Garden: 63 varieties of roses with natural fragrance were planted in 36 different beds. This book showcases rose varieties belonging to Hybrid teas, Floribundas, Polyanthas, Climbers and Ramblers and miniatures. Important features of the flower like its shape, colour and fragrance are mentioned along with characteristics of the rose bush.
