The second part of the book introduces a new species of Prismognathus, a new species of Kirchnerius and the new genus Himaloaesalus. The third part is about Lucaninae sensu Holloway 1960.The fourth part deals with 133 species belonging to the genera Gnaphaloryx, Kirchnerius, Metallactulus, Epidorcus, Serrognathus, Hexarthrius, Rhaetulus, Pseudorhaetus, Prosopocoilus, Miwanus, Falcicornis, Sinodorcus, Aulacostethus, and Dorcus.
