Dr Andrea Čerevková is a senior scientist at the Institute of Parasitology SAS, Košice, Slovakia, specialising in plant nematology. Her research encompasses morphological identification and taxonomic classification of nematodes, as well as investigating the ecological roles of nematodes in soil ecosystems. She holds a PhD from Comenius University in Bratislava (2007) and an Ing. degree from the Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra (2003).
