About this book

The Fibigeriana Supplement series is devoted to promoting the development of the taxonomic, morphological, and biogeographical research of butterflies and moths.

The fifth volume includes 12 articles dealing with the taxonomy and biogeography of different Palaearctic Noctuoidea genera. These articles contain the descriptions of altogether 27 new species and seven new subspecies, designations of two neotypes and more than a dozen lectotypes, several new statuses and new combinations. 

The speciality of this volume is the high proportion of novelties found in Europe, including, for instance, some of the new results of the Fauna Ibérica: Noctuoidea project and the revisions of such enigmatic genera as Janthinea, Stemmaphora, Isochlora, and Leiometopon.
