This is a catalogue to parasites on bats of continental Africa, with a focus on the Ethiopian fauna. The term parasites is used in a wide sense and it not just restrict to ecto- and endoparasites, but also organisms that have a direct or indirect relationship with bats in the transmission of zoonoses. Speciments have been collected from Shaba (south-east of Zaïre, nowadays the Democratic Republic of Congo), and Ruanda.
