About this book

Language: French

This monograph presents the results of a six-year study from 1959 to 1965 on the fish fauna found in the part of the river Volta that flows through the Hauts-Bassin region of Burkino Faso. It describes 114 species of which eight were new to science at the time. Considering relevant species descriptions from other publications not recovered in this study, there are at least 121 species known from this region.
