About this book

Language: One French and one Italian contribution

The two chapters in this monograph, written in respectively French and Italian, give an inventory of the mammals and reptile fauna of Mount Uwaynat or Gabal El Uweinat, a mountain range in the area of the Egyptian-Libyan-Sudanese tripoint, as it was known in 1977. The area is famous for the thousands of sites with prehistoric rock art.
