The genus Diores Simon is revised. A description and a diagnosis of the taxon are provided as well as a key to the species (males only). The genus now comprises 53 species, 29 of which are new. These are D. femoralis, D. annetteae, D. pauper, D. sequax, D. decipiens, D. youngai, D. leleupi, D. silvestris, D. dowsetti, D. spinulosus, D. griswoldorum, D. brevis, D. initialis, D. murphyorum, D. simplicior, D. rectus, D. lemaireae, D. monospina, D. miombo, D. geraerti, D. namibia, D. damara, D. russelli, D. malaissei, D. anomalus, D. milloti, D. recurvatus, D. patellaris, and D. chelinda. The genus is divided into 12 species-groups, based mostly on the male palpal morphology. Three species formerly included in the genus are incertae sedis.
