About this book

Language: Bilingual in English and German

The geodiversity of Vorarlberg and Liechtenstein is large. Small and large landforms tell the story of how these mountain landscapes have emerged. They are witnesses to of a dramatic change in climate since the last ice age. The authors have mainly studied small landforms, where people, animals and plants life, and explain, with fascinating precision, how they were formed. Strong arguments for their protection are also put forward in the book: the archive to the formation of mountain landscapes should be conserved if possible, even at a time of rapid changes in land use.
